VW Konzern is following the trend and has some ideas for an Apple Watch App.

Volkswagen says owners of 2014 and newer models, e.g. Golf, Passat, Eos, Tiguan, will be able to use the Apple Watch with a VW App, which has the following extras available:

• lock and unlock the doors
• check the car’s fuel level
• locating the car
• get status information
• check their battery charge (e-models)

Also Porsche and BMW feature on the Apple Watch.
