Android: the Lollipop version already has 10% of users!

The new Android 5.0 and 5.1 Lollipop versions have been available for 4 months. Together they reached a market share of almost 10%.
This basically means it has doubled since the previous month. 

Indeed the market shares of Android 4.1 and 4.4 decreased, but 73% of Android users use Android 4.2 or newer.

The growth in Lollipop isn’t all that surprising, as more high-profile devices like the Galaxy S5 and LG G3 have all but completed their software update roll-outs and more popular devices are being sold every day with Lollipop pre-installed.
